Ave Maria in Bb Major – Schubert

Piano accompaniment of “Ave Maria” (D839 n.6), by Franz Schubert (1797-1828). This song was composed in 1825 with the title “Ellens dritter Gesang”, and is one of the seven songs of his op.52 , originally from Walter Scott’s poem “The lady of the lake”. Later it was arranged with the Catholic prayer “Ave Maria”.
